May is a packed month for us. We have birthdays and holidays every weekend, and even into June.

I was feeling a little apprehensive about getting a new project done in addition to all of the festivities, and my normal workload as well, but it happened.

I succeeded.

And I'm really happy with how everything turned out - parties, holidays, and projects combined.

This month I went for aprons. It's a project that's been on my schedule for a long time, I just couldn't decide if I wanted full coverage, with a neck strap - or pinafore style - or a half apron.

Turns out my half-apron prototype became the winner. I really like having an option that doesn't pull on my neck as I'm cooking. The finished result is a really classic unisex style, with long ties that can wrap in front, or tie behind.

I love the final result : )
